About Gabriel McIntosh

Native of the Great Lakes Region, Gabriel McIntosh was born in Detroit, Michigan and now resides in Chicago, Illinois. Both of these cities influence his work with the polar contrasts of decaying art deco buildings of Detroit to the contemporary skyscrapers of Chicago.

Over the past ten years Gabriel has worked at Appel Farm Arts and Music Center in Elmer, New Jersey, The Aspen Institute, and The Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Gabriel is a student at School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
